There are special requirements for electrical installations in bathrooms and en-suites as all electrical work must comply with Wiring regulations and Part P of the Building Regulations and we will ensure that all of these regulations are met.

AFS Installations will help you from the outset to ensure that not only does your installation comply but that your electrics are safe for use. The majority of the regulations are common sense however there are a few things to bare in mind.
No Sockets unless a minimum of 3 meters from bath or shower
Shaver points should be a safe distance from bath and showers
Use IP rated lights
Light switches should be outside of bathroom/shower room unless you use a pull-cord
Showers need a direct supply from the board on its own circuit and have a form of isolation local to the shower either a pull-cord or an isolator external to the room.
New Bathrooms and Shower rooms should be protected by an RCD.
Fans should have an overrun time as well a local isolation external to the room.
